POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN SOCIO-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH. Two year research position at the University of Notre Dame with a focus on infant and toddler socio-emotional development. Applicants should have (or anticipate having) a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or Human Development and Family Studies by August 2008. Extensive quantitative skills are required. In particular, the Post-doctoral fellow would help analyze longitudinal data involving studies with infants, mothers, and fathers using Hierarchical Linear Modeling, Structural Equation Modeling, and other analytical strategies. The Post-doc will have opportunities to write up findings and submit publications. Starting salary is expected to be $35K plus benefits. The Department of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a junior faculty position in the area of stress, with a special emphasis on the psychology-biology interface. The position will begin in the Fall of 2008. While applicants from any subdiscipline are welcome to apply, the focus of the search is on someone who works in the area of stress and aging, stress and emotion, stress and psychopathology, or stress and health (especially cancer). Responsibilities include establishing or maintaining an active and productive research program and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
