Research Training

In the cognitive program, formal instruction and informal collaborative relationships between faculty and students will teach you how to conduct scientific research on issues in cognitive psychology and help you develop your thesis and dissertation projects.

In addition to the formal academic training acquired in the process of course work, you will develop research capabilities by working with your adviser, other faculty, and other graduate students.

Because such research projects often involve individuals at various levels of training and competencies, you will benefit from the knowledge of other students. As you become more advanced, you will supervise and assist those behind you.
