Diane M. Lickenbrock

Program: Developmental

Research Interests:  Lickenbrock's research interests encompass aspects of socio-emotional development from infancy through early childhood. More specifically, she is interested in how characteristics of the child (e.g. affect, temperament) and  parents (e.g. affect, sensitivity, and marital functioning) predict child outcomes such as emotion regulation, attachment security, and compliance. One particular interest is in the influence of fathers on socio-emotional development, and how fathers may differ or be similar to mothers.

Undergraduate Institution: Saint Louis University
