Mignon Angelé Montpetit

Program: Developmental

Research Interest:

Montpetit's research examines the process by which individuals call on and use resilience resources (e.g., aspects of personality and community or social support) to manage, move through, or overcome life stress, both chronic and acute. Employing statistical innovations to move developmental theory forward, much of my work has addressed how these resilience resources change in response to stress. Currently, I am exploring another layer of context in which adult development is embedded, the macroenvironment.
