The College of Arts and Letters Showcase for Junior Parents Weekend will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, with a presentation by Arts and Letters faculty in the Browning Cinema.
Dean Sarah A. Mustillo will speak, and three pairs of faculty and students will make presentations:
- Nikhil Menon, Assistant Professor, Department of History
with Nicholas Rosshirt, Class of 2020
- Christine Becker, Associate Professor, Department of Film, Television, and Theatre
with Annie Fick, Class of 2020
- Forrest Spence, Assistant Professor of the Practice, Department of Economics
with Laurence Caradonna, Class of 2021
From 11:15 am to noon, there will be an informal reception for parents and students to meet with faculty and other representatives from the College of Arts and Letters.
Junior Parents Weekend is focused on the Notre Dame family, enabling parents to become part of the academic, spiritual, social, and residential life of the University. It provides them with the chance to learn more about the people and places that comprise their son’s or daughter’s home away from home.
Events for the weekend include an opening gala, collegiate workshops, hall luncheons, Mass, President’s Dinner, and a closing brunch. Most events require a ticket.
