Research interests: My research program focuses on cognitive and biological vulnerability factors in internalizing psychopathology. Specifically, I am interested in the interplay between biased processing of emotional information and maladaptive stress responses  in the onset and maintenance of depression and anxiety. My current work investigates the role of affective flexibility in depression using both cross-sectional and longitudinal designs. I also plan to incorporate translational research (e.g., cognitive bias modification) into my line of work.
