Kerri is generally interested in the psychosocial underpinnings of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors (SITBs) among minoritized populations. Specifically, she is interested in exploring the relationship between sociocultural factors, including minority stressors, healthcare discrimination, and stigma, and disclosure patterns among Black individuals who self-harm; as well as the predictive validity of such factors.
