For the Community
There are two primary ways for members of the broader Michiana community to work with the Notre Dame Department of Psychology: participating in research and taking advantage of our Psychological Services Center. These opportunities are open to everyone, including faculty, staff, and those living in the Michiana area. Notre Dame undergraduate students can sign up to participate in research through SONA.
Participate in research
Participating in research is a great way to contribute to work that can serve to improve the lives of others. Many studies also offer compensation for participants.
Psychological Services Center
The ND Psychological Services Center offers low-cost mental support for adults, children, and families to Notre Dame, South Bend, and the surrounding communities.
The University of Notre Dame broke ground on the Wilma and Peter Veldman Family Psychology Clinic in September 2024, and the facility is expected to open in 2026.
Notre Dame’s existing Psychological Services Center is currently at full capacity and looks forward to expanding its services in the future.
