Antonio is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program, under the supervision of Dr. Payne. His research interests are in the interaction between stress related hormones (e.g., testosterone and cortisol) and emotional memory processes. Clinically, Antonio is interested in emotional memory in healthy older adults and in neurodegenerative disorders (e.g., the dementias). Antonio is currently away for the 2022-2023 academic year, completing his APA Clinical Internship in Geropsychology at the North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical Center.
