My research interests include the social and developmental processes related to body image development and their effects on eating pathology throughout the lifespan. I am also interested in the development of weight stigma and its effects on the physical and mental health of individuals and groups, as well as how it is reinforced through family and peer interpersonal relationships. I also have interests in social media use and its effects on socio-emotional development of children and adolescents.
